Abbreviations Not Used¶
PerfectIt suggests there may be a possible error if abbreviations are spelled out in full after the abbreviation has been defined. This helps improve clarity and consistency.
In most instances, abbreviations are introduced to make a document more legible and concise. For consistency, authors may therefore prefer to ensure that the abbreviation is used instead of the full phrase once the abbreviation has been defined.
